دایک‌های لامپروفیری به همراه انواع دایک‌های بازانیتی و آندزیتی با اندازه­های مختلف در جنوب و جنوب‌شرق شهرستان کلیبر با روند شمال‌غرب –جنوب‌شرق درون نهشته‌های نوع فلیش و آتش‌فشانی کرتاسه-پالئوسن جایگزین شده‌اند. دایک‌های لامپروفیری بافت پورفیری و درشت‌بلورهای بیوتیت و شکل دروغین بلورهای پیروکسن را دارند. براساس ویژگی‌های کانی‌شناسی و زمین شیمیایی، لامپروفیرهای مورد بررسی از نوع آهکی قلیایی و مینت هستند. در نمودار‌های عناصر خاکی نادر و عنکبوتی، لامپروفیرهای مورد بررسی غنی‌شدگی از عناصر خاکی نادر سبک (LREE) و عناصر سنگ دوست بزرگ یون (LILE) و تهی‌شدگی از عناصر با شدت میدان بالا (HFSE) را نشان می‌دهند. ویژگی‌های زمین شیمیایی دایک‌های لامپروفیری گویای تشکیل آنها از ذوب‌بخشی 1-3 درصدی گوشته گارنت‌لرزولیتی دربردارنده رگچه‌های فلوگوپیت بوده که پیشتر توسط مذاب‌های ناشی از فرورانش دگرنهاده شده است. براساس سن‌سنجی Ar-Ar بلورهای بیوتیت، دایک‌های لامپروفیری مورد بررسی31-32 میلیون سال پیش (الیگوسن‌میانی) در یک محیط قوس آتشفشانی جایگزین شده‌اند.
