نهشته بوکسیتی پیراشکفت در یال شمالی تاقدیس پسکوهک درمنطقه پیراشکفت در استان فارس، واقع ‌است. افق بوکسیتی پیراشکفت بین سازند سروک و سازند گورپی در پی بیرون آمدگی اواخر تورنین که پیامد فاز کوهزایی لارامید است، تشکیل گردیده‌است. با توجه به بررسی­های زمین‌شناسی منطقه، بوکسیت پیراشکفت از نوع کارستی است. کانسنگ­ باز­ماندی مورد بررسی در پیراشکفت را می‌توان به سه گروه: بوکسیت کائولینیتی، بوکسیتی و بوکسیت فریتی رده‌بندی کرد. بر اساس بررسی­های سنگ­نگاری، بافت غالب بوکسیت پیراشکفت پیزوئیدی – اووئیدی است. بر پایه بررسی­های کانی‌شناسی، کانی‌های اصلی شامل بوهمیت، هماتیت، دیاسپور و کائولینیت و کانیهای فرعی گیبسیت و روتیل هستند. اکسید عناصر اصلی در افق‌های بوکسیتی بیشتر شامل Al2O3 wt%) 45/55-88/37)،  SiO2 wt.%) 49/30-01/2 )، Fe2O3 ( wt. %71/36- 14/10) و با مواد فرار (LOI) wt.% 13/15 -72/است. براساس نمودار دو متغیره Al2O3 نسبت به TiO2، همبستگی مثبت قوی بین این دو اکسید برقرار است. افق‌های بوکسیتی دارای نسبت بالای عناصر خاکی نادر سبک به سنگین هستند. بی‌هنجاریEu/Eu* نمونه‌های واحدهای بوکسیتی از 99/0 – 26/0 در تغییر است. بی‌هنجاری مثبت Ce/Ce* در گستره 33/2-2/1 نشان دهنده‌ی شرایط اکسایشی غالب در بوکسیتی شدن است.
