کانی­زایی مس رسوبی منطقه سرخه در فاصله 20 کیلومتری شمال­غرب شهرستان مرند در استان آذربایجان­شرقی، شمال­غرب ایران واقع است. مهم­ترین واحدهای سنگی در این منطقه شامل ماسه­سنگ­ها و شیل­های سرخ رنگ وابسته به میوسن پسین هستند که توسط دایک لامپروفیری قطع شده­اند. کانی­زایی مس در منطقه مورد بررسی به صورت چینه­سان با بافت­های لایه­ای و دانه­پراکنده در ماسه­سنگ­ها و شیل­ها و همچنین به صورت پر کننده فضاهای خالی در دایک­ لامپروفیری رخ داده است. کانه­زایی در ماسه­سنگ­ها شامل کالکوپیریت، بورنیت، کالکوسیت، تتراهدریت، کوولیت، مس خالص و کوپریت است. بررسی های نشان می­دهند این کانی­زایی در ارتباط با هوازدگی و شستشوی دایک­ لامپروفیری است. همچنین، نهشت مس در واحدهای ماسه­سنگی در ارتباط با تله­های مواد آلی است. فعالیت محلول­های گرمابی، حضور مواد آلی فراوان، عملکرد فرایندهای سنگ­زایی، وجود سدهای زمین­شیمیایی (مواد آلی و سیلیسی شدن) و زمین ساخت فعال در منطقه نقش مهمی در این کانی­زایی داشته­اند.
