Further reaction of [Cu(fMEDA)h[CuCld with one equivalent of this ligand in THF leads to the formation of a dimeric Cu (I) complex, (Cu(DPT)h. The moleculat structure has been determine(! by using single -crystal X-ray diffraction method. The orange complex crystallizes in monoclinic space group C2Jc with four molecules per unit cell. The unit cell dimensions are a=26.184(12), b=5.564(2), and c= 15.695(5)A WilhP= 116.51(3)". The final R value is 0.054 for 2050 reflections measured. Cootdination number around each copper is two (nearly linear). The Cu-Cu distance is 2.447(2)A.
899 Special Cbemlcal Etching of CdTe and CdSe 1 4 1994 2 1 13 28 08 07 2017 08 07 2017 Single crystats of CdTe and CdSe have been grown by vapcr pnase deposition . Crystals grown in the from of platelets were studied by X-ray diffraction Laue method. It was found llial the faU;:) of O1Te with zincblcndc structure are of {tIl} type and tbose ofCdSe with wunlile structure are of {l120} or {IOIO} types. Platelets of CdTe have one smooth face and one rough face which can be distinguished even wllh bear eyes. Chemical etching of CdTe revealed that the smooth face is composed of Cd atoms and the other face of Te atoms. However, chemical etching of CdSe did nOI show any polarity because both types of crystalline planes {I120} and {lotO} are composed of both alOms. The chemical solotion of Hel, MI. Br2 (2:3:0.3) was found 10 aCI 3. .. a suitable chemical polish ror CdSe single crystals. 900 Special Mineralogical Study of Xenoliths (Buchite) in Young Volcanoes of Stromboli (Italy) 1 4 1994 2 1 29 45 09 07 2017 09 07 2017 There are fragments of xenoliths in basaltic rocks of young volcanoes from Stromboli (Italy). They are oordierite bearing bUChite, having white colours and are in various sizes. The biggest fragment is around 20 '-"In long. The main minerals are cordierite. Around eithy percent of rocks composed of cordieritc and 20% consist of tridymite, hypersthene, sanidine and glass. Microscopic studies shows that the texture is granoblastic and mosaic. The mineral paragenesis and chemical composition indicated that the original rock were aluminum - rich and bauKitc - rich shales. The cordierite are the Mgrich cordierite. Xenoliths mctamophosed by sanidinitefacies. 901 Special Review of Synthesis and Structure Detennination of Triethanolamine Complexes 1 4 1994 2 1 47 54 09 07 2017 09 07 2017 Up to date 12 complexes of triethanolamine with alkali, alkaline earth, lanthanide metals and hydrogen have been reponed. The synthesis and structure determination of these compounds is the subject of this review papacr. Moreover, the similarities and the differences of the complexes with respect to the metals and ligand are discussed. 902 Special Short Review In Crystal and Molecular Structures of Copper(I) Complexes 1 4 1994 2 1 55 84 09 07 2017 09 07 2017 In this review article, the methods of preparation of copper(l) crunplexC(", stereochemistry (crystal and molecularstrucmres) ofmono-, bi-, trio, te1ra1., penta-, hexa-, acta-, dodeca-, and finally polynuclear complexes have been studied. In addition, metal-metal interaction in some cases, have ~ discussed.. For the first time, four new ropper(I) complexes (mono-, di-, and henmer) have been reported.
