توده گرانیت گنیس آبادچی در شمال دریاچه زاینده­رود، در پهنه ساختاری سنندج-سیرجان قرار دارد. این توده از نظر کانی شناسی، دارای کانی­های کوارتز، پلاژیوکلاز، فلدسپات پتاسیم، بیوتیت، آمفیبول، موسکویت، زیرکن، اسفن و آلانیت است. کوارتز یکی از فراوان­ترین کانی­های سازنده­ی این سنگ­هاست که از نظر بافتی شرایط متفاوت دگرشکلی دینامیکی وارد بر سنگ­های مورد بررسی را به خوبی نشان می‌دهد. بلورهای کوارتز شواهدی از باز تبلور کانی (BLG)، چرخش زیردانه­ای (SGR) و مهاجرت مرزدانه­ای (GBM) را نشان می­دهند. تغییر شکل بلورهای کوارتز وابسته به دما و نرخ کرنش است که توسط نمودار دما/ نرخ کرنش می­توان مقدار تغییر شکل را برآورد کرد. بطوری که، مقدار بعد فرکتال در مرز بلورهای کوارتز سنگ­های مورد بررسی بین 23/1 تا 11/1 و دما بین 400-250 تا 750-500 درجه سانتی­گراد است. براساس دما و بعد فرکتال محاسبه شده، نرخ کرنش برای چهار گستره اندازه­گیری  شده  بین 6/11- 10 تا 6/6- 10 است. نتایج بدست آمده از نمودارها با شواهد دگرشکلی بلورهای کوارتز (GBM, SGR ,BLG) همخوانی داشتند.
