ذخیره مس تخت­گنبد در 63 کیلومتری شمال­شرق شهرستان سیرجان، جنوب­شرق ایران واقع است. کانی­سازی درونزاد در این ذخیره به شکل رگه-رگچه­ای داربستی و رگه­های ضخیم کوارتزی رخ داده است که توسط توده میکروگرانودیوریتی الیگو-میوسن و مواد آذرآواری (به طور عمده توف با ترکیب حدواسط) ائوسن میزبانی می­شود. رگه- رگچه­های داربستی دربردارنده سه نسل کانی­سازی (1) کوارتز + مگنتیت ± کالکوپیریت، (2) کوارتز + کالکوپیریت + پیریت ± مگنتیت و (3) کوارتز + پیریت + کالکوپیریت هستند. دگرسانی فیلیک بیشتر در سنگ­های دیواره پیرامون رگه- رگچه­های داربستی گسترش یافته است. کانی­سازی برونزاد در این ذخیره با جانشینی سولفیدهای آهن­دار توسط هماتیت و گوتیت مشخص می­شود. همچنین، تشکیل مالاکیت، آزوریت و مس طبیعی در جریان تخریب سولفیدهای درونزاد آهن و مس در شرایط اکسایشی رخ داده است. بررسی میانبارهای سیال در بلورهای کوارتز موجود در رگه- رگچه­های کوارتزی نشان داده که آنها بیشتر از نوع مایع+گاز+جامد (L+V+S)، مایع+گاز(L+V)  و گاز+مایع (V+L) بوده و دارای دمای همگنی در گستره 146 تا 450 درجه­ سانتی­گراد و شوری 35/0 تا 8/57 درصد وزنی معادل نمک طعام هستند. فازهای جامد شامل هالیت، سیلویت و کانی­های تیره هستند. میانبارهای سیال مورد بررسی در رگه­های کوارتزی ضخیم از نوع L+V بوده و دارای دمای همگنی در گستره 207 تا 344 درجه سانتی­گراد و شوری 35/0-39/3 درصد وزنی معادل نمک طعام هستند. بر اساس نتایج ریزدماسنجی میانبارهای سیال، جوشش سیال­های ماگمایی عامل مؤثر در نهشت کانی­های کانسنگی و باطله در رگه- رگچه­های داربستی است. همچنین سردشدگی و آمیختگی سیال­های جوی و ماگمایی علت نهشت کانی­ها در رگه­های ضخیم کوارتزی هستند. در کل، یافته­های به دست آمده در این پژوهش نشان می­دهند که روند تشکیل و تکامل سامانه گرمابی تخت­گنبد بیشترین شباهت را به سامانه­های مس پورفیری دارد.
