منطقه مورد بررسی در 105 کیلومتری شرق سربیشه در استان خراسان جنوبی و در پهنه جوش خورده سیستان قرار دارد. سنگ­های ماگمایی این منطقه به­صورت توده­های عمیق و نیمه عمیق شامل دیوریت، کوارتز دیوریت، کوارتز دیوریت پورفیری و دیوریت پورفیری با سن الیگو میوسن رخنمون دارند. این سنگ­ها دارای بافت­های دانه­ای، پورفیری با زمینه ریزدانه، افیتیک، میان دانه­ای و گلومروپورفیری هستند. کانی­های سازنده سنگ­های بررسی شده شامل پلاژیوکلاز، هورنبلند و کوارتز، بیوتیت، کلینوپیروکسن، آپاتیت، زیرکن و اسفن هستند. ماگمای سازنده این سنگ­ها دارای ماهیت آهکی قلیایی پتاسیم پایین است. نمونه­ها غنی شدگی نسبی از عناصر خاکی نادر سبک و تهی­شدگی از عناصر خاکی نادر سنگین را نشان می­دهند. ناهنجاری منفی عناصر P ,Nb و  Tiو ناهنجاری مثبت K و Cs در این نمونه­ها نشانگر تشابه آن­ها با فعالیت ماگمایی کمان­های آتشفشانی است. غنی شدگی در عناصر سنگ دوست بزرگ یون نسبت به عناصر با شدت میدان بالا نشان دهنده ماگمای وابسته به مناطق فرورانش است.
