توده گرانیتی چاه­زرد با سن 2/3± 4/535 میلیون­سال (تعیین شده به روش  U-Pbبر روی زیرکن) به­ درون مجموعه دگرگونی جندق - عروسان نفوذ کرده و طی رخدادهای ­بعدی به­شدت میلونیتی­شده­است. این توده گرانیتی، برای نخستین بار براساس روش ناهمسانگردی پذیرفتاری مغناطیسی (AMS) بررسی شده است. مقدار میانگین پذیرفتاری مغناطیسی (Km) بیوتیت­گرانیت­ها (سازنده اصلی پیکره توده گرانیتی چاه زرد) µSI 112 است. بیوتیت مهمترین حامل ­مغناطیسی در بیوتیت­گرانیت­هاست. طی میلونیت­زایی، حجم قابل­توجهی از بیوتیت­ها به مسکوویت تحوّل پیدا کرده و در نتیجه، مقادیر Km سنگ­های دربرگیرنده آنها به شدت کاهش یافته است. خطواره­ها و برگواره­های مغناطیسی این توده گرانیتی به ترتیب، بیشتر دارای میل و شیب بسیار کمی هستند، شواهد صحرایی نیز این امر را تأیید می­کند. خطواره­های مغناطیسی، بیشتر به­سمت شمال­غرب آرایش یافته­اند. از آن­جا که شدت میلونیتی­شدن بسیار زیاد است، ریزساخت­های دستخوش تنش­های زمین­ساختی، بر ریزساخت­های ماگمایی غلبه پیدا کرده و آن­ها را به طور کامل مخدوش کرده­اند.
