اسکارن سرانجیک در اثر تزریق توده نفوذی با ترکیب گرانیتی قروه به سن ژوراسیک پسین در سنگ­های کربناتی ناخالص تشکیل شده است. بازدیدهای صحرایی و بررسی­های کانی­شناسی نشان داد که برون اسکارن، گسترده­ترین افق اسکارنی در اسکارن سرانجیک بوده و از نوع کلسیمی به­همراه لبه باریکی از کانی­های اسکارن منیزیمی است. مجموعه کانی­ها نشان­دهنده دو مرحله پیشرونده و پسرونده است. مرحله پیشرونده بیشتر توسط کانی­های گارنت و کلینوپیروکسن مشخص می­شود. شواهد بافتی و تجزیه شیمیایی به روش ریزپردازش الکترونی (EPMA) کانی­های گارنت و کلینوپیروکسن نشان داد که دو نوع کلینوپیروکسن و سه نوع گارنت در پهنه­های گوناگون طی مرحله پیشرونده در دگرگونی اسکارن وجود دارد. کلینوپیروکسن نوع I با دو ترکیب سالیت (Hd27-40 Di58-51 Jo8-14) و فرو­سالیت (Hd58-75 Di27-16 Jo8-13) به ترتیب در پهنه­های فورستریت-کلینوپیروکسن و گارنت-وزوویانیت-کلینوپیروکسن دیده می­شود. کلینوپیروکسن نوع II با ترکیب حدواسط سالیتی- فرو­سالیتی (Hd36-48 Di43-51 Jo7-12) در پهنه گارنت-وزوویانیت-کلینوپیروکسن گسترش دارد که همراه با تبلور شیلیت مشخص می­شود. گارنت­ها بیشتر در پهنه­های میانی تا نزدیک به توده نفوذی قرار دارند. گارنت نوع I با ترکیب گراندیتی غنی از گروسولر (Grs65 And25 تا Grs45 And40) با نسبت پیرالسپیتی کمتر از 10درصد مولی مشخص می­شود و شواهد بافتی تبلور همزمان آن I و کلینوپیروکسن نوع I را تایید می­کند و در پهنه گارنت-وزوویانیت-کلینوپیروکسن گسترش یافته است. گارنت نوع II با ترکیبی از Grs50 And25 Pyr25 تا Grs45 And20 Pyr35 و گارنت نوع III با ترکیبی از Grs70 Pyr30 تا Grs60 Pyr40 در مقایسه با گارنت نوع I دربردارنده پیرالسپیت بیشترند و در مجاورت توده نفوذی قرار دارند. بر اساس مجموعه­های کانیایی، گارنت نوع I در شرایط اکسایشی در پهنه­های دورتر نسبت به گارنت نوع II و III ایجاد شده است. از طرفی، به نظر می­رسد که نسبت­های گارنت به کلینوپیروکسن مشاهده شده در اسکارن سرانجیک از حجم بالای فلوئور ناشی از سیال ماگمایی ناشی شده باشد. هم­چنین، حضور فلوئور بالا در محیط سبب افزایش درصد حجمی وزوویانیت و کاهش به نسبت شدید درصد حجمی کلینوپیروکسن شده است. ترکیب نسل­های گوناگون کلینوپیروکسن و گارنت در اسکارن سرانجیک قروه نشان­دهنده روند دگرگونی اسکارن پیشرونده از شرایط نسبتاً اکسایشی تا نسبتا احیایی و گریزندگی اکسیژن معادل با 18- تا 30- است.
