در این پژوهش، تأثیر دما و مقدار نیترات بیسموت بر ویژگی­های ساختاری، مغناطیسی و فوتوکاتالیزوری نانوذرات چندفروئی فریت بیسموت تهیه شده به روش سیترات نیترات بررسی شده­اند. ویژگی­های ساختاری و مغناطیسی به­وسیله پراش پرتو ایکس (XRD)، طیف­سنجی تبدیل فوریه فروسرخ (FTIR) و مغناطیس­سنج نمونه ارتعاشی در دمای اتاق بررسی شد. تحلیل الگوهای XRD و داده­های FTIR نشان داد که فاز خالص فریت بیسموت فقط با ثابت ماندن مقدار مول نیترات بیسموت در محلول و در دمای ºC650 به دست می­آید. براساس نتایج مغناطیسی و فوتوکاتالیزوری نیز روشن شد که حضور فازهای ناخالصی سبب بوجود آمدن رفتار فرومغناطیسی قوی در نمونه­ها می­شود، اما تاثیر منفی بر ویژگی­های فوتوکاتالیزوری فریت بیسموت دارد.
