سری­های سنگی مافیک-فرامافیک لایه­ای جنوب ارزوئیه واقع در جنوب بافت (استان کرمان) شامل سنگ­های فرامافیک پلاژیوکلاز­دار (دربردارنده ترکیب مدال الیوین، کلینوپیروکسن، ارتوپیروکسن و پلاژیوکلاز)، الیوین گابرو (شامل پلاژیوکلاز، الیوین، ارتوپیروکسن، کلینوپیروکسن)، و انواع گابرونوریت­ها (دربردارنده ارتوپیروکسن، کلینوپیروکسن، آمفیبول و پلاژیوکلاز که در قسمت­های تیره و روشن مقدار پلاژیوکلاز متفاوت است) است که بخش مافیک همبافت آمیزه رنگین ارزوئیه را تشکیل می­دهند. تجزیه نقطه­ای انجام شده بر روی کلینوپیروکسن موجود در این سنگ­ها بیانگر وجود کلینوپیروکسن از نوع دیوپسید با Mg# به نسبت بالا (75/0-88/0) است. محاسبات دما و فشارسنجی کلینوپیروکسن­ها کمینه دمای تبلور معادل  ºC783 تا 975 و فشار 4/1 تا 6/3 کیلوبار را نشان می­دهد. از نظر زمین­ساختی ماگمایی ترکیب گدازه تشکیل دهنده این کلینوپیروکسن­ها، تولئیتی تا بونینیتی است که در یک محیط قوس شکل گرفته­اند. بدین ترتیب می­توان سری­های سنگی فرامافیک و مافیک لایه­ای ارزوئیه را بخشی از مجموعه­های افیولیتی در نظر گرفت که در منطقه فرورانش واقع شده­اند.
