توده­ی گرانیت گنایس­ منطقه آبادچی (مجاور سد زاینده‌رود) بخشی از پهنه زمین­ساختی سنندج - سیرجان است. ترکیب کانی‌شناسی این توده‌های گرانیت گنایسی شامل کوارتز، فلدسپات پتاسیم، پلاژیوکلاز، بیوتیت و موسکویت و کانی­های فرعی کدر، زیرکن، آمفیبول و آلانیت است. سنگ‌های گرانیت گنایسی­ مورد بررسی­ تحت تاثیر دگرشکلی دینامیک و دگرنهادی ضعیف سدیمی واقع شده­اند. این سنگ­ها از نظر زمین­شیمی کلسیمی تا آهکی- قلیایی، آهن­دار تا منیزیم­دار، پرآلومین تا کمی متاآلومین و از نوع A تا I هستند. نمودار  REEبهنجارشده به کندریت غنی­شدگیLREE ها را نسبت به HREEها همراه با ناهنجاری منفی Eu نشان می­دهند. این سنگ­ها در نمودارهای عنکبوتی بهنجار شده نسبت به مانتوی اولیه غنی­شدگی نسبی در LILE  وLREE  نسبت به HFSE  را نشان می­دهند که این امر اشاره به سنگ­های ماگمایی وابسته به کمان و محیط­های برخوردی دارد. این گرانیت گنایس در جایگاه زمین­ساختی  پس از برخورد تشکیل شده­اند.
