توده نفوذی اسپید با سن نئوژن در کمربند ماگمایی ارومیه - دختر بیرون‌زدگی دارد. آمفیبول­های موجود در این توده نفوذی از نوع کلسیمی و ماگمایی بوده و ترکیب آن­ها از مگنزیوهورنبلند تا اکتینولیت در تغییر است که نشان می­دهد که توده مورد بررسی نوع I است. بررسی­های زمین‌فشارسنجی حاکی از آن است که بلورهای آمفیبول در فشار حدود 5/2 تا 7/3 کیلو بار که معادل با اعماق 8 تا 12 کیلومتری زمین است متبلور شده­اند. همچنین بر اساس زمین­دماسنجی زوج کانی هورنبلند پلاژیوکلاز و آمفیبول­ها، دمای بین 752 تا 865 درجه سانتی­گراد، برای تبلور این دو کانی در توده نفوذی اسپید به دست آمده است. همچنین مقادیر log ƒO2 برای این توده نفوذی برابر با 18/12- تا 27/15- است که نشان‌دهنده بالا بودن نسبی گریزندگی اکسیژن در ماگمای سازنده‌ی این توده و شاهدی بر تشکیل این توده در محیط­های فرورانش است.
