 اریثرایت (Co3(AsO4)28H2O) یکی از کانی­های کمیاب آرسنیک و از گروه وی­ویانیت است. این کانی در­ سطوح هوازده پهنه­های کانی­سازی رگه­ای آرسنوپیریت±پیریت همراه با کانی­هایی چون اسکوردایت و هیدرواکسیدهای آهن در نشانه معدنی طلا-تنگستن تاریک دره (شمال­شرقی ایران) به تازگی شناسایی شده است. اریثرایت در نمونه دستی به رنگ سرخ کمرنگ تا صورتی براق با اگرگات شعاعی و ستاره­ای بوده و در بررسی­های میکروسکوپی با کشیدگی در راستای محور c بلورشناسی دارای چند رنگی است. این کانی دارای تقارن کج­لوزی با پارامترهای یاخته یکه a = 10.251, b = 13.447, c = 4.764 , β = 104.98 و گروه فضایی C2/m است. واحدهای چاروجهی آرسنیک و هشت­وجهی­­های کبالت و آهن با اتصال اکسیژن و هیدروژن، ساختار بلوری این کانی را شکل داده­اند. در بررسی با میکروسکوپ الکترونی روبشی این کانی با ظاهری الواری نمود دارد و بررسی­های تکمیلی حضور عناصرAs  وCo  در ساختار بلوری و ترکیب شیمیایی آن را تائید نموده­است. طیف­های پراش پرتو X پهنه­های کانی­سازی حضور آرسنوپیریت را به عنوان فاز سولفیدی اصلی مشخص نمود و تجزیه به روش طیف­­سنجی جرمی پلاسمای جفت­شده القایی غنی­شدگی آنها را در عنصر کبالت نشان داد. هوادیدگی سطحی آرسنوپیریت در فراهم آوردن آبگون­های آرسنات و کاتیون کبالت برای تبلور کانی اریثرایت نقش اساسی داشته­اند. این کانی تنها در گستره اسیدیته 6 تا 8 پایدار بوده و تغییرات شرایط اکسایش-احیا در پیدایش و پایداری این کانی در منطقه مهم است وتبلور اریثرایت را کنترل می­کند.
